
Eco-responsibility training: a different way
Faced with the challenges of the socio-ecological transition, the cultural community is being called upon to rethink its ways of creating, producing and disseminating.
To help with this transformation, the Conseil des arts de Montréal offers arts organizations training to acquire knowledge, share expertise and develop more sustainable practices.
Organized with the support of committed partners, the Caisse Desjardins de la culture and the Fondation familiale Trottier, these training sessions provide participants with practical tools, opportunities for exchanging, and support tailored to the realities of Montréal’s artistic community.

Financial Support for 22 Montréal Projects with Environmentally Responsible or Resource-Pooling Initiatives

Promise, Skawennati’s public art installation, will transform our façade all summer long
Starting today and running through to the end of September, the Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM) invites Montrealers to discover and experience Promise, a temporary public art installation by world-renowned Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) artist Skawennati, which, for the very first time, will transform the façade of the CAM building (located at 1210 Sherbrooke Street East, across from La Fontaine Park).

The Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM) is proud to announce that Skawennati, a Montréal/Tiohtià:ke-based Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) artist, is the winner of the very first Temporary Public Art Competition launched by the organization in late summer 2025 as part of its 70th anniversary celebrations.

No Excuses No Limits Movement wins the 40th Grand Prix!
In front of over 900 guests at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, the Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM) awarded its 40th Grand Prix, accompanied by a cash prize increased to $40,000 and a unique work of art valued at $10,000, to the No Excuses, No Limits Movement.
