Montreal, May 28, 2026 – The Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM), in partnership with Les Maisons de la culture de Montréal and the Association des diffuseurs culturels de l’île de Montréal (ADICIM), has just unveiled the 43rd edition of the CAM en tournée touring program. An array of 84 shows, screenings and exhibitions will take place across the city of Montréal, with over 400 indoor and outdoor performances open to the public at little or no cost.
When a firetruck becomes the stage
To mark its 70th anniversary, the CAM is thinking big! A unique show is set to take the island by storm, with the Camion d’intervention artistique embarking on a remarkable 16-performance run. This festive and vibrant circus experience will be accessible to families all across the city.
Memorable works to (re)discover
Bold and edgy artistry will take the spotlight in every discipline, including in Danser avec le feu by Ariane Racicot, a jazz pianist with classical, Latin and metal influences; SCUSE by Frédérique Cournoyer Lessard, a contemporary circus performance featuring virtuoso acrobatics; and 6.58: Manifesto from Andrea Peña & Artists, an intense, vibrant and magnetic choreographic work.
These must-see events are back
The Orchestre Métropolitain (OM) and Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM) are back with their much-loved concerts! The OM will present 16 concerts across our city in addition to its traditional performance at the foot of Mount Royal, while the OSM will perform two major outdoor concerts, at Marcel-Laurin Park in the borough of Saint-Laurent and on the Olympic Park esplanade.
Repercussion Theatre’s “Shakespeare in the Park,” a true summer classic, returns with an Afrofuturist reimagining of The Winter’s Tale, in collaboration with the UnCanon collective. This eco-friendly theatrical production will be presented in the city’s parks, up close with audiences and under the stars!
“Every edition of CAM en tournée showcases Montreal’s innovation and artistic diversity and gives artists opportunities to connect with Montrealers right in their own neighbourhoods. In keeping with our role as a talent scout, our lineup has something for everyone. It features rich and colourful contemporary works carefully selected by peer committees—a true hallmark of quality,” noted Nathalie Maillé, Executive Director of the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
From now through May 2027, the public is invited to enjoy these captivating events and performances taking place at the Maisons de la culture, cultural centres, libraries, churches and parks.
