Carried out in partnership with the Desjardins Caisse de la Culture and HEC Montréal, the Parcours program aims to:

  • Create win-win conditions for professional development, with the aim of investing in the next generation of philanthropic managers in the cultural sector
  • Provide students in cultural organization management and philanthropic management with their first professional work experience in a setting where best philanthropic development practices are already in place
  • Enable students to explore a variety of philanthropy-related practices and activities during their placement with host organizations

Here are the seven pairings for 2026:

The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Foundation welcomes Emma Rabenjamina

I am of French origin and hold a degree in Arts and Culture of the English-speaking World. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Cultural Enterprise Management at HEC Montréal. Fascinated by museums and their critical role in promoting art and culture, I am delighted to help further the mission of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts by joining its Foundation. I am thrilled to be able to work with the entire philanthropic development team and to fully immerse myself in this sector.

The McCord Stewart Museum Foundation welcomes Lili-Anne Malo

Coming from an artistic background, I have developed a strong interest in marketing and event logistics as tools for promoting cultural projects. As a Master’s student in Cultural Enterprise Management at HEC Montréal, I am particularly interested in funding and philanthropy strategies in the museum sector.

My internship with the McCord Stewart Museum Foundation involves a wide variety of tasks. It focuses on supporting event-based philanthropy and diversifying revenue streams to support the museum’s mission.

The Théâtre du Nouveau Monde welcomes Daphnée Cardinal

Daphnée, currently a master’s student in Cultural Enterprise Management at HEC Montréal, has a multidisciplinary background in the performing and visual arts, cultural management and event coordination. Creative and highly organized, she is driven by a desire to support projects and organizations that help make Québec’s cultural scene so vibrant. At the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, her internship focuses on supporting philanthropic development and partnerships, including the annual campaign, sponsorships and—first and foremost—the La Cena Rock benefit event online auction.

La Maison Théâtre welcomes Alissa Bonpapa-Pernaud

Alissa is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Cultural Enterprise Management at HEC and holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in musicology and the other in modern literature, with a specialization in writing and culture. She has a keen interest in cultural transmission, particularly among young people, and her internship at La Maison Théâtre will give her an opportunity to pursue that mission while putting her knowledge of philanthropy to work for an important Montréal cultural institution.

Opéra de Montréal welcomes Lucie Biason

With a background in the performing arts, Lucie holds a master’s degree in Theatre Acting and is currently studying Cultural Organization Management at HEC Montréal. As part of her internship, she is getting an introduction to philanthropic relations and prospect profile analysis with the aim of contributing to Opéra de Montréal’s development and sustainability.

The Orchestre Métropolitain welcomes Leia Le Maistre

Trained in teaching at Canada’s National Ballet School and backed by several years of administrative experience, Leia is deeply committed to the cultural sector, especially the performing arts. Working alongside the Orchestre Métropolitain’s philanthropy team, she is helping implement its annual campaign strategies and assisting with the organization of its benefit gala.

The Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal welcomes Violette Milot

Holding a bachelor’s degree in Cultural and Media Production Strategies from UQAM, Violette is currently completing a DESS in Cultural Organization Management at HEC. Immersed in the world of music since childhood, she hopes to do her part to enrich it further. She is consequently delighted to complete her internship at the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, where she will take on a wide range of assignments giving her a 360-degree perspective on the world of philanthropy.
