NoMásClavos receives the research-creation residency for cultural diversity in theatre and new artistic practices 1

The artists’ collective NoMásClavos is the lucky recipient of the research-creation residency for cultural diversity in theatre and new artistic practices!

In addition to receiving artists’ fees, the collective will receive professional mentorship and be able to carry out their project using the artists’ studios of the Conseil des arts de Montréal and the Théâtre Aux Écuries from January to June 2022.

Laissez-moi seul!, a creation by NoMásClavos

The artists’ collective NoMásClavos consists of artists Paola Huitron, Inès Adan Mozo and Isabelle Bartkowiak. These experienced artists, who are from diverse backgrounds and have lived in Montréal for several years now, have joined forces to further develop their interdisciplinary show, Laissez-moi seul!, intended for a teenage audience. The project themes vacillate from funny to poetic and deal with issues such as identity, self-image, acceptance of others and the traces of memory.
