The Conseil des arts de Montréal is pleased to announce the 20 new interns and arts organizations that will take part in the 10th edition of démART-Mtl, a program dedicated to the integration of artists and professional cultural workers from culturally diverse backgrounds.

The program gives newcomers and first-generation immigrants a chance to complete a 600-hour internship with experienced managers and practitioners at various Montreal arts organizations.

It will enable participating artists and professional cultural workers from cultural communities or visible minorities to gain invaluable knowledge and hands-on experience of the Montreal arts scene while contributing to the success of host organizations. Since the démART-Mtl program was first introduced in 2012, over a hundred interns have taken part. In 2021, the internships represent a total investment of $336,000.
