Montréal, June 4, 2025 – The Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM), in partnership with Maisons de la culture de Montréal and the Association des diffuseurs culturels de l’Île de Montréal (ADICÎM), is proud to announce the return of CAM en tournée. With its vibrant and daring programming, CAM en tournée promises to captivate and inspire audiences of all ages. These performances, free for the public or at low cost, are made possible by an investment of over $1.7 million to support artistic creation and performance throughout Montréal.
This year, a selection of 88 artistic works spanning a wide range of styles, backgrounds and inspirations will be showcased in over 450 performances at venues across the island.
Once again, audiences can look forward to an exciting array of artistic projects, both indoors and outdoors, free of charge or at low cost.
This year’s programming includes renewed partnerships with the Orchestre Métropolitain (OM) and the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM). The OM will present 15 concerts across the city, including its traditional performance at the foot of Mount Royal. The OSM will stage two major outdoor concerts: one in Saint-Léonard and the other at the Olympic Park esplanade.
With a lineup that includes the musical project Rives by Yuki Isami, the play 176 pas by Théâtre de l’Œil and the dance performance ON / OFF by Grand Poney, there’s truly something for everyone to discover.
By showcasing works in both familiar and unexpected spaces, the presenting partners, with key support from the Council, demonstrate their commitment to reaching new audiences and championing core values like accessibility, cultural connection, openness and inclusion.
“The 42nd season of CAM en tournée reflects everything we stand for at the CAM. Each new edition of this flagship program for our local initiatives showcases the diversity of Montreal’s artistic scene and offers bold, inspiring productions to people all across the island. Thanks to our presenting partners, we are more connected than ever in the communities where art is lived and shared, and every year we amp up our efforts to make our city a uniquely vibrant stage for creation,” said Nathalie Maillé, Executive Director of the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
This rich selection is featured from now until May 2026. Audiences are invited to experience engaging and inspiring performances and events just steps from home: in Maisons de la culture and cultural centres, as well as libraries, churches and parks.
CAM en tournée’s artistic offerings are carefully selected by peer committees and highlight contemporary works reflecting the breadth and diversity of each discipline, ensuring high-quality programming. These multidisciplinary works are designed to captivate audiences of all ages, promising a rich and varied cultural experience.
