Montréal, June 11, 2025 – The Conseil des arts de Montréal is delighted to host artist Khosro Berahmandi’s exhibition In Search of the Invisible from June 11, the date of the vernissage, to July 31, 2025.
This exhibition pays tribute to his work through an ethereal search for that which eludes the naked eye. It presents his recent works in resonance with his earlier creations, each one serving as a mirror held up to his artistic journey.
Here, Berahmandi delves into the depths of the colour black, seeking the hidden layers of light and invisible forms of life that germinate in the darkness. Every motif and detail is crafted with a technique reminiscent of Eastern miniature painting, composing an imaginary world populated by organic and anthropomorphic figures.
Paintings, drawings and objects interact harmoniously with the stained-glass windows adorning the Maison du Conseil des arts de Montréal, an icon of Montréal’s architectural heritage.
