Montréal, September 15, 2025 | The Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM) is delighted to launch the very first edition of Consécration, a new recognition event highlighting 22 cultural workers who have dedicated their careers to the arts in Montréal. The soirée, by invitation only, will take place on September 24 at the Maison du Conseil in the Gaston-Miron Building.
Behind every artist and artistic organization are passionate professionals whose commitment, often discreet, but essential and above all invaluable, has shaped Montréal’s artistic vitality. With Consécration, the CAM is expressing its gratitude, on behalf of the entire community, to these people, who have left a lasting impression on the city’s cultural landscape.
“Consécration” is a show of gratitude to 22 people who, through their passion and hard work, often carried out in the shadows, have enabled the arts to shine and artists to have the freedom to create. They have passed on their knowledge, supported the next generation, forged institutions, and supported and inspired generations. It is a privilege to be able to give them a collective “thank you” on behalf of the entire artistic community,” announced Nathalie Maillé, executive director of the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
