À Deux roux collective awarded the Tremplin residency

À Deux Roux collective

Is it possible to create a theatrical acrobatics show with artistic cycling? The quest for identity, the loss of one’s bearings, and the heritage of our “elders” are at the heart of the group’s project.

The collective, led by circus artists Guillaume Doin and Gabrielle Garant, will introduce a work to be presented as part of the TOHU’s programming and the Conseil des arts de Montréal’s touring program for the 2020–2021 season. This excellent visibility will help introduce them to Montréal audiences.

The Tremplin residency program is intended for emerging circus arts collectives or organizations. It provides an opportunity to present a new work as part of the TOHU’s programming and the Conseil des arts de Montréal’s touring program. The selected resident is also offered professional guidance through the En Piste individualized coaching program.
