Let’s support Montréal’s artists and emerging creativity
The CAM is launching its first annual campaign to fund the new voices, new narratives and new art forms that will shape tomorrow.
A campaign that connects, amplifies, and reinforces existing initiatives and invites as many people as possible to take concrete action to support Montreal’s creative scene and ensure its long-term viability.
This first edition aims to raise $350,000 by September 2027

70 years, 70 grants, 70 projets ready to take flight
Grâce à la générosité des donatrices et des donateurs, le Conseil des arts de Montréal veut soutenir directement 70 projets artistiques à travers 70 bourses de 5 000 $. C’est un total de 350 000 $ qui sera remis pour appuyer des projets créatifs à haut potentiel.
Because when you’re just starting out, $5,000 can:
- Fund a first tour to promote a creation
- Support a first artistic project
- Open the doors to a first residency to explore, test and refine an artistic process
- Provide a first professional experience in the Montréal arts scene
- Give an artist the means to fully realize their vision
Beyond supporting the creative process, the CAM helps artists build and ensure the future of their artistic practice.

70 years of building our creative future
For seven decades, the Conseil des arts de Montréal has supported, brought together and nurtured the artists who define the city’s cultural landscape.
It has backed generations of artists and organizations, sown ideas, forged connections and helped make Montréal a cultural metropolis unlike any other in the world. Artists and institutions that are now fixtures on Montréal’s arts scene—including the MUTEK Festival, Ensemble Caprice, Tangente, the daphne Indigenous art centre and FIFA—found in the CAM one of the first backers of their efforts to take flight.
