2- Understanding donor relationships

Wednesday, October 6, 2021
Online registration here

Building lasting donor relationships is an important and necessary component of philanthropy. Relationships with your donors must be ingrained in your organization’s culture, just like customer service. Ignoring the importance of relationships with your donors could see them become loyal donors elsewhere.

On the menu:

  • Adapting your philanthropic approach to individuals and companies
  • Understanding donor motivation
  • Building a philanthropic relationship with an individual and a company

Trainer: A graduate in finance from HEC Montréal, Jocelyne Gonthier is a philanthropy consultant specializing in major and planned gifts. She has over 25 years of philanthropy experience with various organizations. She spent 12 years as Director of Major and Planned Gifts at the HEC Montréal Foundation.
