Call for proposals - Creation, Production and Broadcasting Residencies

Montreal, March 19, 2021 - Les Grands Ballets is proud to open up a call for proposals for creation, production and broadcasting residencies thanks to its partnership with Conseil des arts de Montréal. This collaboration will allow the company to support and offer a residency to various artist, collectives, creation and production organisations who do not have access to studios on a regular basis.

Equipped with exceptional technical and property resources, Les Grands Ballets will be able to grant access to their rehearsal studios and their Studio-Théâtre and offer the following services, free of charge:

  •  In-studio creation residency for a duration of 40 to 80 hours;
  •  Video shoot days in the Studio-Théâtre;
  •  Production/Broadcasting residency for a maximum of 6 days in the Studio-Théâtre.

Dance artists, collectives or organisations who are interested must submit:

  •  A short biography and description of their artistic approach;
  •  A letter of intent describing the nature of the projects and the desired dates.

The residencies will take place from April to December of 2021.
