Call for applications: Tremplin program

Deadline for applications: November 1, 2018
Tremplin information session: September 17, 2018 at TOHU

The Tremplin program offers an emerging artist collective or organization in circus arts an opportunity to present a new work that will be featured in TOHU’s programming and in the touring program Le Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée. The collective or organization selected will also be offered professional coaching through En Piste’s individualized coaching program. The Tremplin program aims to give circus arts more prominence on the Island of Montreal, to familiarize the public with the discipline and to support the professional development of emerging circus artists.

The proposed work must be fully completed and ready for presentation. If the work has previously been presented in Montreal, it must have been in a limited context only. Since the goal is to raise the visibility of circus arts in Montreal, consideration will be given only to works adapted to the technical specifications of municipal performance venues.

Tremplin is made possible through a collaboration between the Conseil des arts de Montréal, TOHU and En Piste, the Circus Arts National Network.
