Journée de la philanthropie en culture - les premiers pas

Join us for Journée de la philanthropie en culture - les premiers pas : how to startfundraising in your organization. We aim to create a space for exchange and reflection, for learning about the advantages and strategies of integrating philanthropic processes and revenue into your organization. A number of your colleagues will share experiences in panels and key note conversations. As well, there will be peer learning through co-development* exercises.

This inaugural meeting is open to all Montreal cultural organizations. We are targeting managers responsible for philanthropy or leaders planning a move to fundraising. This experience should provide you with a number of useful and sustainable practices for your organization.

*Regarding co-development:
To encourage a real peer learning experience, Journée de la philanthropie en culture - les premiers pas will use a co-development approach, where 6 to 8 people share and collaborate to evolve their personal insights within a group. Current, concrete and real situations are the focus of the discussion. We will choose proposals for these discussions from among those provided by the participants in the meeting. The groups will be led by specialists in co-development headed by Nathalie Sabourin, Development Expert and Collaborative Facilitator.
