Call for applications: Internships démART-Mtl

Application deadline: October 1st, 2018
Information session on June 14th

From January to July 2019, démART-Mtl will enable Montreal arts organizations to enrol newly arrived or first-generation culturally diverse workers and professional artists into a paid internship. The goal of this program is to boost the employability of culturally diverse workers and artists by helping them develop their craft and become knowledgeable about the Montreal arts community, thus facilitating their professional integration, while also contributing toward the development of host organizations.

Organizations wishing to benefit from démART-Mtl must meet the Conseil’s general subsidy program requirements and be able to offer a quality internship in one of the disciplines funded by the Conseil. Organizations and eligible trainees must jointly submit their application file by October 1st, 2018. For complete details on eligibility norms and criteria and to download the application form: www.artsmontreal.org/en/programs/demart-mtl

New in 2018 : démART-Mtl now offers a dual intership program
- the artistic internship allows trainees to hone their craft within an established company;
- the administrative internship is dedicated to aspiring cultural workers wishing to assist in a variety of managerial functions.
