Call for applications: Regard sur Montréal – Film Residency

Deadline: October 27, 2017

The Conseil des arts de Montréal, the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC) and the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), under its Independent Filmmaker Assistance Program (ACIC), have partnered to offer the residency Regard sur Montréal. This residency, which is designed for emerging filmmakers who are first-generation immigrants or who belong to a visible minority, is also made possible with the collaboration of Les Films de l’Autre. Lasting eleven months, it will enable an emerging filmmaker from a culturally diverse community to produce a short documentary on the theme Regard sur Montréal and thus deepen the portrayal of one aspect of the metropolis.
