Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal
The Conseil des arts de Montréal and Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal have joined forces to award the Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal, in order to recognize and promote the contribution of the business sector to the development of Montreal's cultural and artistic life.
These prizes, which celebrate the spirit of innovation and risk-taking of entrepreneurs, will also highlight various ways to support the arts so as to encourage other individuals and corporations to become actively involved in this field.

The winners have been announced on December 9, 2009, by Louise Roy, chair of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, and Michel Leblanc, president and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, during a cocktail party at the Gésù hall.) (See Press Release)
The jury was made up of Mr. Wah Keung Chan, publisher and editor of La Scena Musicale, Ms. Arlette Côté, Corporate Director, Communications and Public Affairs at Loto-Québec, Mr. Daniel Dion, General and Artistic Director of Oboro, Mr. François Forget, a consultant with Forget Idéation-conseil, and Ms. Véronique Lacroix, Artistic Director of the Ensemble contemporain de Montréal.

The winners have been announced on December 2, 2008, by Louise Roy, chair of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, and Roger Plamondon, acting president and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, during a cocktail party at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
The jury for the Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal was composed of Nathalie Courville, director general, Marketing and Communication, of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB); Lorena Corradi, director general, co-artistic director, and vice-president of the Arsenal à musique; Roshi Chadha, patron of the arts; Marc Pache, director general of Théâtre Bouches Décousues; and Maurice Forget, partner at Fasken Martineau. The winners have been announced on November 6, 2007, by the honourary co-chairs of the Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal, Isabelle Hudon, president and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, and Louise Roy, chair of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, during a business luncheon with the guest speakers Lorraine Pintal, artistic and general director of TNM, and Pierre Karl Péladeau, president and CEO of Quebecor Inc.
The jury of the Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal was made up of Lise Bissonnette, president and CEO of the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec; Marie-Josée Gagnon, ARP, founding president of CASACOM; D Kimm, artistic director of Les Filles électriques; Elliot Lifson, vice-chair of the board of Vêtements Peerless Clothing Inc.; and Paula de Vasconcelos, co-artistic director and general manager of the Pigeons International theatre company.
