Available for events that will undoubtedly impress your guests, the Maison du Conseil des arts de Montréal rents several spaces, including a magnificent hall, located in an historical building, the Édifice Gaston-Miron (formerly the Bibliothèque centrale de Montréal), situated right across from Parc Lafontaine on Sherbrooke Street.

Atrium
Jewel of this «beaux-arts» style building, the atrium is a prestigious and welcoming space that can accommodate a range of events, from cocktail parties to conferences, not to mention symposia, film shoots, family gatherings, and business meetings.
- Capacity: 200 standing or 100 sitting

Mezzanine
Overlooking the atrium, the mezzanine is ideal for exhibitions.

Rehearsal Studios
For many years, the Maison du Conseil des arts de Montréal has been an important centre for creation and production, thanks to its spacious rehearsal studios offered to the arts community at very affordable prices. Open and well appointed, these studios can also be used occasionally for gatherings (certain restrictions apply).

- Capacity: up to 75 standing (depending on the studio)
- Priority given to creation. Reservations for these rooms must be made several weeks in advance

Conference room
The special character of the conference room will enhance the efficiency of work sessions and board meetings. Able to accommodate up to 28 people around its conference table, this room is also equipped with a projector and screen and offers all of the necessary conveniences for pleasant and productive encounters.

Baroque room
Adjoining the atrium, this small space is dominated by a magnificent ceiling featuring baroque-style painting. It can serve as a lounge or a dining room, depending on the occasion.

Warm-up room and changing room

Cafeteria
Located in the basement, the cafeteria is an appealing area for serving snacks, lunch boxes or simple buffets.
- Capacity: 80 standing or 40 sitting
- Running water, coffee maker, fridge
- Vending machines (coffee, juices, water, soft drinks, snacks)

Need more space?
Along with the atrium, the conference room, rehearsal studios, warm-up room, mezzanine and cafeteria can all be used at once for an event that requires several rooms (symposia, conventions, forums).
