Arts-Business Consulting Service

To build a stronger relationship between artists and business people, the Conseil des arts de Montréal provides information and guidance that is up-to-date and personalized. Several consulting services are offered to both cultural organizations and members of the business community.

Guidance for Artists:outlines the rudiments of business relations, fundraising, letters of intent, budget forecasts, visibility strategies, presentation files. It also provides non-profit organizations with information on Board of Directors, fundraising campaigns, etc.

Guidance for the Business Community: provides information on Montreal’s cultural community, advice on how to get involved with artistic organizations, on philanthropy in the arts, and on the various arts-business services.

Networking: helps artists and business people make professional contacts with their colleagues and counterparts.

Reference material: provides artists with pertinent, up-to-date information on the various resources and services available to them, and offers information to business people who would like to support the arts community.
