Business Volunteers

The business community working for the benefit of art and culture? On a volunteer basis? Absolutely!

Bénévoles d’affaires is a dynamic and relevant organization. Its mission is to help business people share their time and knowledge with cultural or community organizations. Why? Because the latter can always use—and greatly appreciate—a helping hand. Whether it be for advice on a public relations plan, payroll policy, computer system analysis or Board of Directors, Bénévoles d’affaires can help cultural organizations find the pearl, whether rare or not!

From their perspective, business people offering their services find it fulfilling to take part in the success of an organization and to invest their time in a vibrant and stimulating sector. So it’s a win-win situation.

Bénévoles d’affaires does its utmost to ensure productive encounters. It makes sure that volunteers are suitably matched with the organization, bearing in mind the interests of each, so that a long-lasting bond can develop.

The organization was founded in 2006 by Ugo Dionne and Marie-Pierre Dufort, with the initial support of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, United Way, Sun Life and the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, where its offices are still located.
